BLCPS is the first Collective Management Organization licensed by the Government of Bangladesh, representing composers, lyricists, and music publishers to support fair royalty collection and distribution.

- Professional and work information, including role, releases, work links, affiliation details, society membership, IPI numbers, and referee details where provided.
- Publisher information, including company name, registration details, authorized signatory details, tax information, and relevant corporate documents.
- Payment and banking details required for royalty disbursement, including bank, branch, routing, SWIFT, cheque, wire, or mobile financial service details.
- Technical and security data, including IP address, browser metadata, timestamps, login/session activity, email verification activity, and audit logs.
3. How We Use Information
- To receive, save, review, approve, reject, or follow up on membership applications.
- To verify applicant identity, eligibility, authority, and supporting documentation.
- To prepare membership communications, agreements, assignment deeds, and signing workflows.
- To maintain member records, royalty payment records, work registrations, and administrative audit history.
- To send transactional emails, verification links, password reset messages, application updates, and member notices.
- To protect the portal against misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and data integrity issues.
- To comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, copyright, and collective management obligations.
4. Sharing and Service Providers
We may share information with service providers that help operate the portal, including hosting, storage, database, email delivery, file storage, electronic signature, analytics, and security providers. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to BLCPS.
We may also share information where required for membership administration, royalty distribution, copyright management, legal compliance, enforcement of rights, fraud prevention, or responding to lawful requests.
5. Documents, Signatures, and Payments
Uploaded documents and signed agreements may contain sensitive personal, identity, financial, and copyright-related information. BLCPS uses this information to process membership, execute agreements, administer rights, and maintain records required for operational and legal purposes.
Banking and payment information is used for application processing, royalty disbursement, account verification, accounting, and support.
6. Retention
We retain application, membership, agreement, payment, audit, and work-registration records for as long as needed to operate BLCPS services, manage rights and royalties, satisfy legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and preserve an accurate membership history.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No online system is completely secure, so applicants should use accurate contact details, protect account credentials, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
8. Your Choices
You may contact BLCPS to request access, correction, or updates to information submitted through the portal. Some records may need to be retained for legal, operational, royalty, accounting, audit, or dispute-resolution purposes.
You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications where available. Transactional, membership, legal, security, and service-related notices may still be sent.
9. International Processing
The portal and its service providers may process or store information in countries outside Bangladesh. Where this happens, BLCPS uses those services for portal operation, security, storage, communications, and administration.
10. Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will show when the latest version became effective.
